Cheap, reliable hosting!

Do you need hosting for a website? Who doesn’t? I was with a company last year that shall remain namely. Their hosting was horrible, they kept trying to charge my credit card for purchases that I didn’t make for domains that I couldn’t get (from auctions), they also charged my credit card a couple times without telling me. On top of that, they would never reply to my support questions and when I called them, their technical support was always outsourced to India (not that there’s anything wrong with India, but it tells you that the company wasn’t serious about their customers).

Anyhow, what I was getting to, is that I switched hosting companies and I couldn’t be happier. People always say you get what you pay for, but that really depends on the situation. I was paying my old hosting company about $20 a month and I definitely wasn’t getting my money’s worth. I am now paying $5 a month for a ton more features and amazing support! I switched over to Site5.

Site5 is amazing! I can’t rave enough about it. They have a good selection of hosting plans…anything from shared to reseller accounts. I host a number of sites for myself and friends and find the shared hosting plenty. They have great support both through email, community forums and support tickets. They also have a phone number where you can reach someone that actually works for the company.

Site5 Webhosting

Maybe you’re looking for one-click install support for software like WordPress, Joomla or other blog or CMS software. Site5 also has the latest versions of Fantastico installed. Fantastico is great in that it allows you to effortlessly install and upgrade software on your server if you’re a non-technical kind of person ;-). There are also a few other features that are really important and a part of all accounts. One such feature is called Flashback. Flashback allows you to return to a previous state in which your server was working…very similar to the Windows feature of “system restore point” (you know, just in case you mess something up ;-)).

Another great thing about Site5 is that they allow you to access a ton of features on the servers. More features than other companies would…and all through the control panel to your server. It’s all very easy with the setup they have. No more remembering three different logins for the same account…on Site5, you can access everything you need under your one login name.

Site5 doesn’t overload their servers and, get this, they even offer a 60-day money back guarantee! I’ve now been with them for about a year and I have no regrets. I often look at other hosting companies just to compare, and I’m still surprised that nothing even comes close. So, with all of that being said, if you’re looking for webhosting, you now know where to go!
